The L6-Ss that I've seen have all been maple. Heavy, bright, and not my tone at all. This one might be great, but if you go check it out, plug it in.

The L6-S was a funky axe.

They were all maple and most of them I've played over the years were quite heavy.

The original pickups are Bill Lawrence designed and quote different from a typical Gibson Humbucking pickup.

Not sure what those pickups are in that one but they are for sure not original.

At that price I can't see it not being "worth it" but thats all very subjective.

I'll say this...if it was within an hour or so drive for me for sale I'd at least go check it out.
