1979 Schecter Strat

Just bought a used 1979 schecter strat that the guy had rewired so that the volume knob was where the 1st tone knob should be and visa versa. Anyway does anyone know if schecter used a standard strat wiring set up or was it something different - I'd like to try the original set up......??

I am not sure you will get an answer, so it might be a good idea to look at a strat diagram and figure out how the schecter is different. My suggestion would be to print off the strat diagram and then draw out where the schecter is different and incorporate the mods you want such as 50's wiring, treble bleed or bridge tone control. My guess it's close. Visualize, document, test, document and then do.
