Vintage 1980 original Acoustic Control Corporation model 165 amplifier. Go's from buttery warm Cleans to Crushing High Gain. This is the same "Acoustic"amp company that produced the famous vintage Acoustic bass amps that are in high demand now . This has 60/100 watts switchable output from 4 6L6's , two cascaded channels each with its own gain and volume controls, bass, mid, treble with pull boosts on the bass and treble knobs, presence, reverb, and a 5 band graphic eq. The two channels can be switched from the front panel or with a footswitch (not included). It has a replaced Peavey Scorpion Plus speaker. Solid Wood Oak and Walnut Cabinet. Amp has been recently recapped by a tech . In addition to the tube preamp, you can select a FET input for a slightly different sound . . Amps working great. These Amps sold for 1000.00 back in 1981. This was based on the Mesa MKII, and it was so close that Mesa sued them at they had to stop making it.
THIS IS A VERY HEAVY AMP..SO THE CABINET, AMP , AND SPEAKER WOULD HAVE TO BE SHIPPED IN DIFFERENT BOXES. MOSTLY LOOKING FOR TRADES.
