1980 Rola Celestion 15 Ohm G1280s

Although I hate to get rid of them for sheer sentimentality these speakers and me don't really get along.

I've got 4 G1280 Celestions. These were made for a VERY brief amount of time. The run was so brief that the cabs were still labeled as having a 120w rating instead of the true 320w rating. They were the predecessor to the Celestion Classic Lead and the Vintage 30.

These speakers came from a 1980-1981 Marshall 1982 heavy duty cabinet. They have a very big low end with quite a few highs. They have the large dustcap, heavy magnet, and 55 Hz. cone like a G12H would. The voice coil is fiberglass though from what I understand instead of copper. I've heard that this is the speaker that the Mesa Black Shadow was based off of. I don't know if that's true though.

The cones and surrounds are all in great shape, as is the cork. The break you see in one of the pictures is just where one piece ends and the next begins.

The numbers on them are:
T2876

AN10
BN27
BN27
BN13

Please excuse the pictures, my camera only does well outside for some reason.

I'll get a picture up of the backs when the camera decides to cooperate again.

$400 plus shipping to the lower 48.

Trades I'd be interested in would be 15/16 Ohm G1265s, English made Celestions, Reinhardts, British style Webers. The end result is I would need to reload my cabinet. ;)
