Got my Falbo Alpha Series Hollowbody

Re: Got my Falbo Alpha Series Hollowbody

I don't believe the people spamming vibrato replacement parts are longtime forum members. I also think if there are questions about the vibrato parts the manufacturer is within bounds to answer them. Additionally, I haven't seen Frank "plugging his wares" on here.
Agreed. Frank answers questions that have been asked but hasn't gone "Hey, guys, let me start a thread all about me!" whereas the other manufacturer went posting a bunch of marketing speak all over various threads.

That is insanely beautiful and I love love love that neck joint. Wow is all I can say and I even like the headstock design. Very nice score.

Dude, I just checked out that link with the videos. That's one stupid good guitar man. The pickups sound great and it just lively as hell. You got yourself a keeper for sure.

Re: Got my Falbo Alpha Series Hollowbody

Plenty of elucidation on the Falbo website.

It would be hypocritical to grumble about one manufacturer, spamming vibrato replacement parts, and then let Frank get away with plugging his wares.

Dude let it go. When Frank or any other manufacturer takes the time to answer our questions in the forum it is a gift. Back to the subject at hand, I would lie to know more about the slot system for the strings. Is there a plate under the body that anchors the strings in place?

If any of y'all members of this community built something, I'd love to see it, and wouldn't consider it spam. If you were not a contributing member here, and you just showed up to plug your wares, I'd get upset.

Re: Got my Falbo Alpha Series Hollowbody

I hate to be the one to ask, but rough street price for one configured like that? Looks like they are in the $3K to $6K range and just wondering where this one falls.

I actually have mechanical drawings of a product being done right now. We are then applying for our patents and having a prototype made. I guarantee when you see this product you will instantly want one, or a few. Every guitarist that has seen it so far (about 6 in my trusted circle) have been blown away. Including one ex-industry exec.

Will this apply to me and my Strat with Floyd into clean-set Marshall with dirt pedals ways?

I love everything about it. It's original, yet retains what we love about classic lines.
That's not easy to execute, but Frank has the eye and the talent.

I love 335's, so this guitar is definitely a head turner.

Having played Frank's prototype version of this axe (not this exact one, just the 1st build) at NAMM a few years ago, with Luke no less, I can say firsthand that these are FANTASTIC instruments on par with the best of the best. This is a hollowbody for the 21st century.

Congrats Luke! Love the color.

I was hoping you'd stumble in here and give us your two cents. Like you I love those Mickey Mouse ears, but this was something different and distinctive, but still familiar.

Hey man! Glad to see you drop in! Frank captured all the elements; chunky neck shape with wide nut width, super fast fingerboard, integrated heel, light CRAZY lively body, and all the classic cues from its predecessors.

Btw, finally scheduled for LASIK a week from today.
