I don't think Formula was trying to say it was fake. I think he is just warning people that the guitar is not original, so shouldn't be advertised as such or priced as such until the seller researches his item to give a better and more accurate description, especially at the price it's listed at.
Honestly, I don't know if the guitar is original Kahler from the factory or not and I don't care. I do know that if it is, it's worth the $2500, maybe a hair less with the different Kahler instead of the Gibson marked one. If it's not an original Gibson Kahler route, I see old non original Kahlered Customs in the $900 to $1400 range. That's a huge price difference to go on what "someone else" said about its originality.
My whole point was about the approach, almost calling it a fake. Also, I didn't know of any deal gone bad with him. Just felt the guy was getting beat for no actual reason, specially having done a smooth deal with him before.
