These Japanese made Fenders from 25 - 30 years ago are legendary for their quality, playing ease and great tone!

Serial number A039250. Dates it to 1985 or 1986.

I believe this is the Contemporary Stratocaster model.

Super nice construction and attention to detail.

Beautiful glossy black finish.

Just 8 pounds when weighed on my digital bathroom scale.

Lightweight and resonant alder body.

Maple neck with rosewood fingerboard.

24 3/4" scale.

Tight neck/body joint - no gaps.

Medium jumbo frets are in great shape with very little playing wear.

Low, easy action and buzz free string bending.

Vintage 60's style bridge and vibrato with full size steel block.

No cracks, no issues whatsoever.

I've always taken very good care of this guitar and it is in great condition for a guitar that's 25 years old.

Brand new Seymour Duncan bridge pickup - Jazz Bridge model. You could put an alnico 2 magnet in it to make it into an Alnico II Pro.

Vintage Carvin neck pickup.

Brand new CTS volume and tone controls and .02 Sprague Orange Drop tone capacitor.

Gig bag included - it's a cheapie but it does the job.

Thanks for looking!

$295. local pickup.

$25. shipping to anywhere in the USA.
