I would like to try some Duncans for fun. Which set do you recommend? I want traditional Singles with maybe a touch more heat in the bridge. :cool2:

I just picked up a set of Fender Custom Shop Fat 50s! $70! All my guitars are basically stock and sound fantastic!

I had SSL-2 / SSL-2 / SSL-6T in a Strat for a while. I parted with the guitar, but still have the pickups waiting on my next Strat.

Ft 50s on their way! Can't believe a set of Fat 50s retails for under $120, that is crazy!

I contacted Fender, the 2003 highway had vintage style Alnico II pickups. They are warm, rich and full.

Other than appearance, what are the changes on the recent Highway One strats compared to early Highway One strats? Is the neck noticeably more narrow? Not as vibrant and lively as the Early Highway One strats?

You went over all of this in detail when you were asking about buying the Strat you've got. I remember you made a big deal about how the newer ones have MIM string spacing and what a huge problem it was for you.
