I've noticed in the last couple weeks that on Ebay there is a drop in price for the David Gilmour signature strats. These are all 2014 models and reportedly new/mint. This model is one of my favorites and I'm just wondering if anyone is aware of why the substantial price drop (was over 4k normally a year or more ago and now can get same model - NOS - for just over 3100).

Thanks for sharing anything you may have heard/read about this great guitar. While Gibson is going up.....pretty decent drop in price for this Fender signature model. Well, I should say at least on Ebay. But about a handful of people selling this guitar "new" now .....the larger companies still have the value/price substantially higher. Thanks again...

maybe it's just a blowout and they don't feel like having the guitars sit in their inventory, so they'll take a smaller profit?

For the record the musician's fiend price is $5200 now.

Iv'e seen the higher prices with the bigger companies. Before, even the individual retailer had the NOS models going for about 4k plus.....now just over 3k. With Gibson raising prices I guess very little chance the Tom Scholz signature model will be coming down dramatically anytime soon?
