2205 Request

Does Anyone have a sound-clip of this marshall (JCM 800 Head). I'm planning on buying it used but I cant try it out first unfortunatly.

Well, I have an '88 Marshall JCM 800 2210, which is the 100 watt model (the 2205 is the 50 watt model). I used it for our bands demo:

On the first two tracks I'm playing the lead parts. Our lead singer/guitarist used a Big Muff into a Fender Twin so you can probably tell them apart in the mix. I think I'm panned a little left IIRC. You can probably hear my amp better in the second song.

Thanks a lot man! What guitar/pickups did you use? Do you rember your amp settings?

I was using a Les Paul Studio w/ stock pickups. For volume, I had everything pretty much dimed, I was pushing the tubes pretty hard. I swapped the tubes to JJ's since then and it sounds even better.
