Alder RW Strat- JB TB-4, SSL-1, SSL-1 with a 250K Volume+250K Tone pot. This is my fav combo. Plenty of JB's high mid crunch and presence is still there IMO.
Used to have just a 250k volume pot for the bridge-JB and it was too bright and piercing. 4 x V30 contributed, also.
With a 250k vol + 250k tone JB works for me.
