2x12 Speaker Cab...Avatar or Carvin?

I am looking for a 2x12 cab to use with my Hot Rod Deluxe. I want Vintage 30's...Avatar has the cab for $289 and Carvin has the Legacy 2x12 (w/Vintage 30's) for $339. Is there any practical difference in the quality of the cabs? The Carvin cab looks well made and so does the Avatar. Anyone with experience please chime in. Thanks!

The Avatar stuff is great bang for the buck. It is a bit "more cheaply" made, but I had one for a whle and it was one rugged mofo.

have no expirience with carvin, though

The Carvin Legacy is a pretty nice cab...I wouldn't hesitate to buy one...I've never used an Avatar, but I like the aesthetics better than the Carvin FWIW.

I've had two carvin cabs Legacy and MTS and an Avatar, get the Avatar, have it loaded with a Hellatone and a V30 - you'll wet your pants.

I was thinking of using the cab with my JCM 2000 also. I don't think the G12T-75's sound too great with this head. So, if I do go Avatar, I'll want a V30 and a Hellatone 60?
