Hard to go wrong with an LP, Strat & Tele...I can shred on any of 'em.

An SSS Strat, an HH Tele, and one of those "jazzy" guitars like an Ibby Artcore.

Two Les Pauls and my Green Buddy.

The Les Pauls are my Gem Series, and then a Custom Plus one (finish TBD).

1) Jazz box (335 or IBZ one)
2) Tele (heavily modded)
3) Ibanex steve vai (in white or that floral up above)

some other selections would be:

4) line 6 variax (banjo, sitar, dobro ext tones)
5) strat
6) 12 string acustic
7) Steinberger or Parker (because iv had both and really liked em)
8) 2 decent basses (one fretted and one fretless)

thats not a whole lot to ask for...is it?

my 3....hmm

deffinatly be my '75 LP Custom, '93 Nighthawk....and I STILL have 2 buy a 335:P..the nighthawk will cover the "strats"...and...well....we ALL know what the Paul will do:P

That salesman was right for many guys here... for many of us it's either a Strat, Super Strat (or other shred guitars) and a Gibson, or it's a Strat, Tele and Gibson... very cool!!!!

Wonder what Dangly would choose... :)

that will be a h/s/s strat, a s/h thinline tele and a p-90 equipped guitar.

Put me on a desert island with my PRS singlecut, Godin Montreal, and a nice acoustic (tayor, higher-end martin, the like), and I'll be happy.

a custom warmoth (Les Paul Style) with EMG p-90s (p81 bridge p60 neck)
Yamaha SA2200
don't really need anything more, but since there is a choice for another one
EBMM Petrucci F-1 model (the new ones)
