I have two of the same ibanez Roadstar , basswood body , rosewood fingerboard , 25.5 scale .
The first one has been modified and the previous owner did add a single coil in the middle , the other one just has two humbucker .
The modified one is really treebly on the high strings and has less high mid punch .
Do you think that it's because with the added p-u the vibrations of the string on the harmony table is damaged or is it simply because one is brighter than the other ?
(I suspect that vibration on harmony table is more important for high strings - and there is no more harmony table between the humbuckers in the fisrt one - and the body vibrations are more important for low strings )
