3-way On/Split/Off wiring?

Hey all,
I'm trying to wire up 2 humbuckers, with a volume, tone, 3-way pickup selector, and another 3-way for both pickups on/ both split / both off.
Any suggestions/ideas/diagrams?

Thanks!

Do you want the 2nd switch to take precedence over the main selector? Ie., if the 2nd switch is "off", the guitar is silent. Regardless of the position of the 1st?

That's correct. I think I may have a solution, using this 4PDT switch: http://guitarelectronics.com/3-way-4-pole-on-on-on-toggle-switch/

Here's a diagram (using Lace Alumitone colours/wiring), I think this'll work (but a pricey bet if it doesn't):

You only need a DPDT on-off-on switch. Gimme a sec and I'll draw up a diagram. I'm assuming you won't mind the switch positions to be split-on-off.

With my diagram, if you have the 2nd switch in the middle, it's out of the circuit. As if it wasn't there. Up will split. Down will kill. And those two positions are reversible depending how you rotate the switch. The contacts go the opposite direction of the handle.

I prefer the full-size vs. a mini switch.

"Full-size" doesn't need to be gigantic! :D

I believe that switch was meant for turning on the fog lights on your pick'em me up truck. Try to find something in between. ;)
