3 x Mini Humbuckers in a strat?

Have any of you guys ever used 3 minibuckers in a strat type guitar? If so, what were the results?

do you mean mini humbuckers like this:

or a single-coil-sized humbucker like this:

I know a few members (LesStrat, etc) have strats with multiple of the S/C sized ones, though I don't know about the true mini-humbuckers

Chandler put out a guitar that sort of looked like a cross between a strat and a Ric with that configuration; it was called the 555. If you look up some reviews that might give you an idea. I heard one once and it sounded great. http://www.ishibashi-music.com/chandler/gif/555-01b.jpg

Run a Google search for Vinetto guitars. They use mini-HBs in the neck and middle with a Tele bridge pickup. Their sound clips should give you some idea about the tones you can expect. Hopefully, Randy McFarland will check in, as I think he has a Strat like you're talking about. He has some clips, but I'm not sure which ones feature the "Firecaster".
