4x12, 15inch monitor question

i have a line 6 pod with power amp, running it through a marshall 4x12 cab, i need more guitar at the front of the stage since some places we play have crappy moniters and they are all chained together so guitar is pretty much lost in the mix, to solve this, i hooked a 15 inch peavey monitor coming out of my power amp going to front of stage, then from the moniter back to my 4x12 cab, it sounded awesome (actually better out of the moniter then the cab) my question is.... is there any danger in messing up my line 6 or 4x12 cab by doing this, both the 4x12 and the 15 inch monitor are 8 ohms. dropping the total load to 4 ohms which is the min load for the power amp i believe.

just wanted to get feedback before i play it for an hour set this weekend

Re: 4x12, 15inch monitor question

I used to run a Ross 15" monitor w/out the tweeter and it sounded great even after 2 or 3 hour jam sessions. I kind of wish I could have heard it with the tweet-tweet though.

Just make sure you're matching impedances...

But, most of your proplem cutting through is with that POD, I'd be willing to bet.
