5 Neck Guitar

Sam Ash in Clearwater has a Tennessee branded 5 neck bolt on in the main lobby with the used stuff but the counter guy said it wasn't F/S and was a customer's just on display. Looked like it was set up similar to Rick's only without the vibrato on the third neck. My inner Rick was screaming, "You KNOW you want it!!"mg::boggled::approve:

I'm wondering if he could ever reach the 4th or 5th neck.

I have thought about getting one of those Galveston triple-necks, though, but it'd have to be Floyded 6 /12 /Floyded 7 or 12/6/baritone 6.

Back in the old days Rick actually played all the necks during Surrender. Now he straps it on towards the end and strums a few chords and tosses the handfuls of picks toward the end of the song.

I saw a video of a dude doing a setup on one of those.... Looks like they aren't worth the material they are made of. (Loose neck, shoddy tuners, etc. basically everything you'd expect)

I wanted one of those when they were introduced... Simply to use for the last song of the night, just to be completely ridiculous.

You'd think these days, it could be 3d printed or made of cardboard or something to be really light. I wonder how many pieces of wood it is using.

Yeah, I imagine his back cant handle it anymore.. just a showpiece now. kinda has to break it out at least a bit. Id be disappointed if i went to see them and didnt get to see that axe. Just like when I saw Metallica and they didnt do master of puppets.. I was bummed as all get out..

The original Hamer probably used 5 but I bet that one I saw is a bunch. Hamer has made at least 3 I know of The original Orange one, the B/W one he tours with now and a Korina one that he occasionally has out on tour.
