5-way switching help with WLH set.

Hi everyone--

Pulled the trigger on a Whole Lotta Humbucker set which I'm having installed into my EBMM Silhouette (HSH). As is, the guitar has a 5-way switch that splits the humbuckers in positions 2 and 4 while position 3 uses the middle single coil. Given that the WLH set is made to have both pickups be used at the same time - a la the middle position on a Les Paul - I'd like to find a way of keeping all the sounds I have now but also be able to use both humbuckers. Can anyone think of a way of making this work? The more specific you can be the better.

The solution is either to add a DPDT on/on mini switch or to replace your tone control pot with a push-pull pot.

If the WLH set has 2 conductor, then singlecoil operation will be impossible unless you customorder a set or do some connector surgery.

If the WLH has 4 conductor then you just connect the pickup wires up as before (making sure to translate for Duncan colour codes if necessary)
