50th Anniversary Seths????

Hi guys,

Contemplating whether or not I want to replace my Burstbucker Pros in my LP Standard with 50th Seths but I can't find any information on the Duncan site or anywhere on the net. Do they still exist? :smack:

Yes, they still exist, but as far as I know, they are only available through Musicians Friend.

Awesome pickups! They're basically Custom Shop Seths, wound just a notch hotter, with cool engraving on the covers "50th Anniversary 1955-2005". They look really cool in my honey flame LP Prem Plus. The sound is what the very best PAF's would sound like, if you were to find the best sounding set of A2 PAF's. Think Van Halen bridge with Duane Allman neck. I think they sound best with a 300K bridge and a 500K neck pot.

I always dread messing with pots on that guitar, since it has one of those grounding plates inside. I changed only the neck volume pot, just so the neck pickup stays brighter when backed down.

I still wonder what the A5 50th Ann Seths sound like, but I think I made the right choice buying the A2 set. Sounds great through anything I plug it into.
