Should i get a 5150 combo or a 5150 II Half stack??? Im not looking for huge volume just a really nice tube amp. But i could use this combo for gigs easily right? not huge gigs just like clubs etc. (small)

O i dont mind it loud but can a hook up a 5150 head to a randall combo would that work? If it does would it sound like complete ****, I presume it would.

it has less bass and gain than the 5150, and it has way too much high end. The 5150 is already pretty high endy as it is, and I don't keep the presence very high, to compensate. The 5150 II is just overkill, IMO.

Based on opinions against the 5150 II, I would say get the 5150 combo; you can hook it up to another 2x12 if you need any more power out of it, and you should find it plenty loud.

I really like the sound of my 212 combo. I like the reverb a lot. Some people might say the 'verb is average, but it's great in my book. It's got a lot of crunch, and if you're not dead set on playing a concert hall, and don't need to feed your ego, get the combo. You can get power tube distortion a little easier than with the head units, and you don't have to fool with half power tricks like pulling tubes out or anything. It's definitely loud too though.

I think im gonna get the combo sounds like an awesome amp! Now i have to wait till christmas cuz i got no money! Also its more expensize because I live in Indonesia because my dad made us move hear and the guitar stuff is expensive. Actually just the amps cause there from the USA. BTW christmas!
