Dude, check out the Krank Distortus Maximus pedal, or however you spell it. It cops the Revolution tone, which is really, really, close to a 5150 tone!

and XTL's don't come with 5150, you hafta buy an extra amp pack to get them, and there you just dropped $450

Plus, the 5150 on the POD is rather lackluster.

Ditto. It's similar, but really lacks that "OOMPH" that a nicely-dialed-in 5150 can have.

The MI Audio Crunchbox can do some pretty good VH stuff. I can try to make some clips if you want, just name a VH song. Or I can do a medley (even though I only really know older VH).

To clarify a few things....
The amp, not the album
Drew, check your PMs.
I want a pedal, not a multi-effects. Had a GT-6, realized I didn't use 95% of it, and spent 95% of my time tweaking instead of playing.
Jeff, that Krank pedal DEFINITELY looks worth checking out. As I Lay Dying's last album has some killer tone, and I read that they were reamped through a Revolution.
To clarify a few things....

Yeah, it was EMG 85's into an OD808 and Krank Rev1 with a Mesa cab and single 57.
Andy Sneap just got in the Krank pedal, hasn't posted clips yet, but he says it sounds completely badass, and I trust his opinion a fair bit
