59 in a strat wiring

Hi, I recently sent my lil 59 back to SD in exchange for a fullsize.
When I opened up the package, I noticed it was a single conducter! Can I still wire this w/ 2 single coils? I had told them it was for a strat w/ 2 coils and would imagine there is a way to do this.

sure, you wont be able to split the coil but it should work fine.

Hey Steve; Just to be clear, your 59 is a twin conductor. One wire is inside the other. What do you mean by "normal"? What type of guitar? What was in there before?
