Once you get passed the idea of sanding a gibson it's not too bad is it? Are you going to finish yours? Man I wish my top was half as nice as yours!

Its a cracker top, thats for sure. When the shop got the lefty shipment (2 guitars for the whole country at that stage) the goldtop went before I could get to the store. In the end I think I'm glad I had no option.

I've got some nitro and a spray gun....I've got some other jobs to do (kit guitars) so I'm thinking to do a couple of coats over everywhere and have a gloss 60's tribute.

I really like the natural wood showing as the binding. Looks like you did a great job!
