6505 mini?

Re: 6505 mini?

Phillip McKnight has a youtube video review demonstrating some bad hum on clean channel as well as serious low end flub if accidentally turning gain on clean up to around 8 or 9 when playing through high gain channel. Knobs are close together, so could happen inadvertently, but other than that the high gain settings were very well liked.

Hasn't been mentioned in other videos though. He tried several from the same store and all had hum issue with clean channel, but possibly a batch that had issue if not mentioned elswhere.

Re: 6505 mini?

Probably as they are also doing a mini valveking and others too. The biggest thing I like about this one is the standard head box. Instead or the birdcage everyone else uses

The 6505 mini is a mini head and the same size as the ValveKing II (which is not to be confused with original ValveKing, its redesigned) and the Classic 20 mh.

They aren't full size heads. The options in back are identical.

All three are lunchbox size heads

Big bro too? Awww...

Still rocking my old USA JSX from 2004. Many amps have come and gone, even the mighty 6505. But it remains.
