666 strings guitars. not your mommas brand

Re: 666 strings guitars. not your mommas brand

Those look badass but I couldn't deal with how close the pickups are, I would beat the hell out of the neck pickup when I play. They could add another 1" in between the two. I just stick with 22 frets. nice guitars though.

Some very nice looking guitars. I like their maple fretboards.

from the website:

"These are the 666strings standard guitar shapes, handcrafted for metal, core, PUNK or rock shredders… "

any punk band caught using a guitar like one of these would deserve to be laughed off stage

The bridge pickups all seem a little forward too, weird placement. I dig that bridge too. *bookmarked*

Punk doesn't really exist anymore Snoogles. The dudes still calling themselves "punk" weren't ever really "punk" to begin with. A real punk would probably think it was pretty punk to play punk with a $2000 guitar and beat the piss out of it.

those are nice. What is "pickup balance" knob? Is it like a fader?

Waiting for the Stryper signature 777 model.

LOL!! Im not real keen on the shapes or the finishes, but look well made. 6 screw neck joint. Kinda suprised none of the stock photo guits have floyds, esp the V shape. I kinda chuckled when I saw the one with the crackle finish. I remembered the crackle finishes back in the 80s. didnt like em then either..

These look terrible and the pickup placement is all sorts of whack. I bet they sound terrible with bridge pickups that far forward.

actually the pickups placement is quite awesome. dont ever judge a guitar til you have played one, thats always been my philosophy.

Sorry, but I disagree. I've owned and played enough guitars at this point in my life to know that I do not like bridge pickups that far from the bridge, and I'm not alone in that sentiment.
