68 Fender Bassman Clippage

Did some more messing with my Squier Thinline today. This time through the 68 Bassman. This is pretty much what my wife gets to listen to every day, year in, year out....lol

Raw, powerful, but still almost clean sounding. Beautiful tone my friend, I think I'm going to have to pick up one of those Squiers, they sound nice.

It sounded almost like an old Marshall at places!!
Must be the attitude of the player

Those pickups are dialed in really nicely, I honestly think it is the best SD neck Tele that I have played. Very round, with a ton of clarity. I love Tele's in that they grind, while staying very clean. They do that better than any other guitar IMO. This Squier stuff is really getting good. Every day I love this guiitar more...

I can't take the credit, but perhaps that Traynor cab has something to do with it.... Everything sounds great through it, even the VTM.

That Bassman suprised me with its Marshall vibe, I mean it is a dreaded silver face.....

That is probally because it is more clean...Marshall of old are clean...but you know that
I also have a 100watt Bassman head....also surprised me with a workable sound...none too Blackface(which I do not dig much)
