7 string neck pups

Is the Jazz the only pup SD makes for the neck of 7 string guitars. I just put a distortion in the neck of my Ibz RG1570. It sounds so good I would like to put one in the neck of my RG7621 (maybe). The only thing listed as a neck neck pup for 7 strings is the JAzz (which is also something I'm considering but I've never had one). Thanks

Re: 7 string neck pups

They also have a distortion neck, probably invader too...I think the custom/jb are the bridge-only models but I'm not sure.

Re: 7 string neck pups

My assumption was that since the Jazz was the only thing that specifically said 7 string neck, nothing else is specifically made for the neck slot. I'm still leaning toward the Jazz anyway, I want the pickups to be completely different in the two guitars. However, would it matter if I put say a distortion in the neck position if it's not specifically a neck model?

I just had a Duncan Designed rewound by Motor City Pickups and its the bomb. Ver vocal and sweet sounding without the mud associated with the Duncan designed or the Dimarzios that were in it.

Do they have a website? I've got DiMarzios in the guitar right now. I really am not satisified the neck pup. The bridge is ok.

No...we are working feriousously at getting it up.You can call direct if you like, via a private message.Klink is using a 22.65 k Alnoic 5 magnet, and a 16 k neck, which is a serious weapon in his hands. All our pickups are scatterwound by hand, with highest quality, and guaranteed for life.We prefer a phonecall,as to learn what the customer really expects and wants.Hope this helps.By the way,you may be interested to know that the 7 string uses a 2.75in magnet,if you shorted it a bit with a vintage cut 65.5mm,it would make the pickup react more aggresive!Nice touch for more metal!
