8 or 16 ohm ?

I`m buying a thd hotplate and need to know wich one to get.
I have a vox ac 30cc and a 2*12 external cab. My amp have two speaker outputs,one for an additional cab in use with the combo speakers and one that bypasses the combo speakers (cab only) .
I`ll use the hotplate with the cab only(cab speakers bypassed)
The cab says max 16 ohms and the amp have a 8-16 ohm switch....ehhh i`m lost:yell:

I am not sure what you are asking.

IF you are using a 16 OHm cab then use a 16 ohm setting on the hotplate. Your amp can take either 16 or 8 ohms, just make sure the switch and cab match.
