A couple of random thoughts.. LP follow up and tonal suprise

First is a follow up to a prev post. I posted that my newest LP 2012 2008 model, (http://www2.gibson.com/Products/Ele.../Gibson-USA/2008-Les-Paul-Standard/Specs.aspx) didnt sound very warm and all. Had a plinky tone and not much sustain and detail. Now that Ive played it awhile, its like it has loosened up. The other day I played it and it sounded like a les paul should. Ive never had a guitar that seemed to require a break in period like that. But, its killer now. Plus, Im really starting to dig the stock pups too. (BB pros) This is the axe I was going to put the distortion in..

Next. The phenomina (sp?) strikes again. Everytime I sell a guitar, or plan to, it seems to play so much better. haha. This happen to anyone? I usually play em one last time then clean and pack em.. That last time usually fills me with regret.. Perhaps I need to stop doing that then huh?

The latest, is this. I need to reduce a few more and one of the top on my sell list is my LTD 1000 CTM. I was playing it the other day and it felt great and had an awesome mid range bark to it. Dang....

anyhow, thanks for reading..
