A few questions about a 1980s charvel

I recently bought a 87' charvel model 4 from a goodwill that I'm trying to bring some life back to. I was wondering how hard it would be to replace the jackson trem with a Floyd rose? I also want to replace the pickups with some blackouts. Which blackouts should I get?

As far as I know, an OFR should be a direct swap for the JT6.

You'll need to modify the route slightly. I have a Model 2 body that I converted from a JT-6, and the bar attachment for the Floyd Original would hit the top of the guitar. It took my tech maybe 30 seconds to slightly widen the route and it's been fine ever since.

Be careful, the screws protruding from the back of the OFR are MUCH longer than the Jackson JT580/590 at least and will NOT fit in the pre-routed cavity of guitars that came with those trems starting in about '90. Not sure about the JT6 era, but I'd research before buying.
