Hi guys, i posted these up a while ago and i'm pretty sure noone listened, guess noone really likes pop punk much!

Anyways i'm just starting to write some new songs, so wouldn't mind some feedback on the other ones. Feedback on any of it, Guitar, bass, drums, lyrics, melody, structure, its all welcome.

Heres a link to the album. (should work)

I'd probably start with Walking Cliche, it says what we are about pretty well, then if you fancy listen to any of the others.

Hopefully someone will give em a listen this time, feel in a bit of a rut songwriting wise and not totally sure which area i should be pushing to improve.

Thanks!

Oh and FWIW, i hate the clean tone on United, i really wish i could go back and do that again, and have the guy who mastered it pull the guitar down and push the bass up, i really like the bassline to that song and feel it would be better upfront pushing the song along. So if you listen to that one maybe eq a bit more bass in it.

Re: A few songs, feedback welcome.

The playing seems tight and overall it is competent ,but the style of music sounds dated, if not un-origonal[cloned]. Just an opinion FWIW.

Yeah i can understand that totally. There's a bit of an underground pop punk revival going on these days, and most of it (as is pretty typical of punk) fairly generic. We put alot more emphasis on an exciting live show and catchy sing-a-long choruses than pushing any boundaries musically. But yeah, maybe with the new songs i write i'll try and push boundaries a bit more, however saying that i predict many of the bands i listen to at the moment would gather the same sort of opinion from you, hmm, certainly an idea i will experiment with though, try and bash out a few tunes that are totally different, cheers.
