I keep attempting to do a magnet swap and always find other variables to change first. In this case, not only lowering the pickups but also raising the poles at the same time to fix the output issues. i do this sometimes. usually ill raise the poles on the neck pup a bit above the bobbin top and keep the pup a touch lower, where on the bridge i keep the poles almost flush but raise the pup closer to the strings
