A good price for a Duncan Pickup Booster?

Hey guys.

I was sat browsing the net earlier and I found a SD Pickup Booster for £55 with shipping, and was wondering if this is a good price?

If it is a good price Imight pick it up and see what I think. Does it work better with Single Coil's or equally good with Humbuckers?

Thanx for any info.

i think it works great with either. i dont use the resonance switch with buckers but sometimes with single coils.
i think $70 is a good price in the states, not sure about your side of the pond.

Thanx for the reply Jeremy.

I've never seen 1 for sale before over here, so I don't know how much they are new.

I think I'll get in and see how I like it. I'm sure I could sell it on if I didn't like it :)

Thanx for the post Jeremy.

I know 1 of Sheryl Crow's guitarists use them live, and I loved both of their Overdriven tones when I saw her live. I think I'll like it either as a boost or to change the tone of my Strat's pups using theresonance switch.

I should have it in a few days, so I'll see how I like it when it gets here/

Brow; I really like mine. I don't use the "boost" function much, because I use a modeller, but the resonance switch is great. I use it for singles and hb's. It just gives you two more "tones" to whatever pickup combo you use now.

I especially like the fact that it seems to tame any "ice-picky", or shrill, sounds that you have now. I love it. ;)

Thanx for the reply Artie :)

It does sound like a cool pedal. I'm sure I'll play around with it and find a way to use it in my rig :)
