A sign of what is to come...

Well, since the neck is done being sprayed and is now in the curing process for the next week or two, I couldn't stand it... I HAD to see what it's going to look like on the body. I'll let it finish curing like this, then pop it off real quick for the final polish. :laugh2:

It looks killer! The nut and tuners will just top it off. Oh and of course the strings :smack:

VERY classy! Is that birdseye maple? Looks like a Warmoth... is it?

If it wasn't done drying you may have some problems getting it back off.

Well, it's dry, I'm just letting it harden. Either way I taped off the heel, there's no paint anywhere in the neck pocket.

The neck is from USA Customs, the body is a Fender with a myriad of parts (Duncans of course ;)). It's technically a birdseye neck since that's what I ordered, but there's flame ALL OVER the place too. It all popped out once the finish was sprayed.

That looks REALLY killer. Not my colors, but that looks like it's going to be a fantastic guitar. post clips asap.

Re: A sign of what is to come...

Hope it PLAYS & SOUNDS as good as it looks!

Aren't you happy I approached about building your own strat now that it's 90% done

TBH, Bro, I didn't think it would turn out looking that dam GOOD :32: This is not helping my urge to build another "strat".

Can we even technically call these things "strats" ?

Haha, thanks man. I am eternally grateful for your suggestion, this thing has turned out 150% better than I expected in all honesty... and it's not even done yet :smack:. I'll probably jelly my pants when I first get to plug it in and play.

Sorry if I worsened your "strat" G.A.S. ;).
