Hello all, recently put a set of A2's in a Les Paul. The bridge pup is considerably hotter than the neck. Things are installed/wired right, heights adjusted, but the bridge just seems way too hot from what I recall of them before. I measured the DC resistance of both (at the same time and temp) neck was 7.5K, bridge 8.4K, the latter of which seems pretty high for an A2 pro according to the specs.
Anyway is this normal for this pup set, don't recall this issue years back with them in a LP? The volume/output drop is a bit of a problem switching to neck alone from bridge. Kinda wondering if the bridge is just a bit overwound, maybe has the wrong magnet, or something was mislabeled?
Thanks for any insight,
-Steve
