I'm in the believer category even when applied to low tunings such as A standard which I keep a guitar or two tuned to at most times for doom and death metal riffing. The problem is when you play with others, because most don't use it.

My experience comes from using a quality strobe tuner to handle the offset.

I understand that different frequencies "do " different things. Perhaps making people feel things in different ways. . . Perhaps.

Without getting all mystical and whatnot. Dr's claim they can disrupt cancer cells with frequency, use sound waves to help heal damaged tissues... I think there is some truth in that.

I'm not convinced there is one "necessarily BETTER" than another in something like a guitar, but I'm not opposed to the thought either.

And then what I believe to be The Smartest Person to ever walk this earth says:
"If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration". -Nikola Tesla

That quote carries a lot of weight to how I see the physical world.

Just my random thoughts .

The Fourier transform is a testament of that idea. Every thing in the world can be described as a sum of sine waves. The first 2 minutes of that video is the important part, after that it gets real nerdy real quick

Unless you have perfect pitch, you probably listen to music by hearing intervals between notes rather than the absolute pitch of the note itself. So different frequencies (at least different frequencies that are so close as A=440 vs A=432) don't really do different things or make you feel differently.
