I love my Prestige Ibanez AZ and love the single coils.
The bridge humbucker had good clarity but not much bite, and I just couldn't jive with it in my main shredstick.
I though about the Evo 2, Illuminator, jb and Satchur8...then thought hey if attack is the only issue with the hyperion, why not swap in a magnet?
I was reluctant to use a8 since it was so clangy and trebly in my 498t and custom...but I didn't want to settle for ceramic and gave it another shot (roughcast a8 btw)

Everything the a5 had to offer plus more bite and a faster response. If it's too close to the strings it does get clangy, but at 2.5mm on both sides it's good. It just feels beefier and punchier. Like Rambo II's Stallone vs First Blood's Stallone.
Anyways just a little success story and a recommendation to mod your hyperions if needed - it's a pretty good base pickup to work off of, with no real bad points and a decent output for rock.
