Action help

I want to adjust the action on my Strat. I do this by adjusting the little screws on the top of the individual saddles, right? Which size hex key (I'm assuming it's a hex key I'll need) do I use for the job?

Re: Action help

I'm not sure what size, but I just got a wrench with many sizes of hex keys. If you get one of those, there is sure to be a key to adjust the truss rod on there too, that way it's all in one place. If you bought it new, go back to the place you bought it from. They should have given you both keys anyway, any guitar made comes with them.

Re: Action help

nah...bought it a while ago, used. I looked through my hex keys, nothing small enough to adjust the saddles.

Re: Action help

You can buy sets with the correct sizes...I bought two sets awhile back when I wasn't paying attention to metric or American measurements, so I got one set to adjust all my foreign made guitars and a set to adjust my Vandenberg.....I think I bought mine at a hardware store like Lowe's or Home Depot.
