Re: Active bass electronics
?? You sure? 3 octaves is 36 Frets. On 26 (which I see the bass as having) you can "only" go 2 octaves plus a full step
As far as the electronics go: Sure, all you have to do is replace the pickups and electronics with passive ones. Yoiu may even only have to shed the electronics because the pickups are already passive.
I personally prefer active on bass, because as a bassist an active Eq is essential IMO. I feel that otherwise you lose tons of versatility
One question, though: With Thurisarz in Sweden and Norm in the UK (which I know for a fact is true), doesn´t it strike anyone as odd that they shop at the same guitar store?? Or am I just misunderstanding this??
Not like I care or think it´s some funky conspiracy or something, just struck me as odd
*EDIT* Just saw, Norm seems to have been in stockholm recently
Thurisarz said:...I have fallen love with the neck of the Eagle, 26 frets, i can do 3 octaves on one string! I think it's a c-shaped, it just fits perfect in your hand and you glide like a king! :13:
