Addiction FX ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!

I've placed an order through e-mail, no site, no eBay, shipping with DHL, as they have their own customs office here in Italy and it goes a lot faster than the normal channels.

Got an appraisal of the items thusday, placed the order friday, made the payment through PayPal saturday, monday they deliver the package to DHL, tuesday morning got the track code, today wednesday at 10 AM sharp, the package gets delivered with all paperwork done to yours truly.

This beat the normal delivery of anything inside the same city!

So, if any you fellow forumites had any doubts about how they run their business, I can only tell you one thing: THINK AGAIN!

I'd like to personally thank Hannah, who took my order and to Dennis for take such care of their customers.

I'm happy for you Lt., unfortunately, you seem to be the exception, and not the rule. It took over 6 weeks for me to receive my order from when I placed it, and paid for it via PayPal. They did throw in an extra magnet for my inconvenience. Things did get a bit better when I spoke to Hannah, but voicemails were not returned on more than one occasion. When I notified her of the displeasure of some forumites, she started yelling at me stating that she was doing the best she could. I may try them again, but I'll hold off on that until I know that they have indeed gotten their act together.

Wow! Can't imagine Hannah yelling at anyboby. She's such a pleasant and friendly gal.
So sorry you had such a bad experience.

I've always had great experience with addictionfx with my last order being the only exception. They really screwed that one up, but they made it right and threw in a couple extra mags.

It DOES seem that they are having some problems lately, but they are good people there and I'm sure they are doing the best they can right now to get through whatever is going on.

Doc, I had talked to her a few times. It was just the last time that she got a bit rude. I guess she was having a bad day. She said that they had hired a new employee, so there is probably a new employee learning curve that has to be expected. I'm hoping they get their act together soon. according to the service the Lt. received, it looks like they are on the right track.

I just got some mags today from them I ordered on Sunday. I wonder if certain types are really hard to keep in stock right now due to word of mouth; I bought A3s, which probably aren't a big mover.

Could be that they had plenty of the A3s in stock. Hopefully, they're getting things back on track and their service will be better from now on. (hope, hope)

how the hell did you get hannah to yell at you?!

i emailed them once to try and confirm the alloy in the heap of free screw and slug poles they included with my magnets (which arrived in sydney in perfect order within like 7 working days);
i made it clear at the outset that i didn't need anything else (ie not repeat business), and even though i didn't contact them for weeks/months after receiving the order, she was still very pleasant and helpful and was even able to talk to dennis and confirm it for me.
1018s and 1010s.

i'm no CEO, but i know a bit about business; i wonder about the expectations of AFX's detractors.
i practically had a crush on her after my experience.

how does it work with us Europeans now? They make clear that i did loose some money on business abroad. Some folks talked about a US company that do provide a US address. Did you use that?

No, I've used DHL. When they started with their website, they decided to offer DHL and/or FedEx to ship abroad.

You have to ask for it and it will cost you a little bit more, but man, having your stuff 36 hours after you've made the payment is PRICELESS for me.

In my case, I've paid $ 25.00 for the shipping with DHL for a little change over a $ 150.00 worth of different material order. As you can see, no second mortgage on the house to afford first class shipping was necessary!

the first order I placed with them was perfect. but I've been having some trouble with the past 2 orders. I think Hannah is great and I'd like to give them the business... but at the end of the day, service means more to me.

some of the suggestions of them having some internal/personal problems is a real bummer and I hope they can move beyond it. but for the time-being I'm afraid I might have to find another provider this next week.
