Advice for a bedroom closed back metal amp or direct recording device?

Re: Advice for a bedroom closed back metal amp or direct recording device?

AD series had a 50 watt 2x12, VT series only has a 100 watt 2x12

My AD15VT rules at metal --- it has JCM 800, JCM 900, JCM 2000 (?), Mesa Rectifier, Soldano SLO, and Dumble Overdrive Special models, and they are all really good.

mine does too, though i use ODs and a fuzz into the topboost model to get my crunchy metal tones and the ac15 model for my thicker, heavier rhythm tones.

i made a short clip of some metal-ish stuff. i'll have it uploaded here in a few minutes. i don't have the greatest mic or anything so it might not sound very big, but you get the general idea.

ok so check it out; i did three clips in one. the first part i didn't use the EQ for scoop, the second part i did, and the third part i switched from the SD-1 to the DS-1 for still more scoop the settings on the DS-1 in that picture aren't what i used i set the ds-1 like the sd-1. they're just short bits of a few metal songs i doodle on a bunch, nothin' special but yea. all parts were done with my mockingbird with an a4 PG.

it's the last clip on the list:

these things are actually pretty cool for metal man, you just have to know how to work with them to get the tones you want.

I use podfarm for my rock/metal. anything over one watt for tube is gonna be way too loud.
