Re: advice for esquire bridge p.c.

yeah...

the '53 tapped jb for tele which i believe is also known as the custom shop hot tapped alnico II tele lead, is the best sounding bridge single coil ive ever heard. i have one in my esquire and two others in different guitars. when we made the forumcaster for seymour, this is what mj wound for that guitar

i have mine wired:
1-tapped output with treble roll off cap, i think i use a .01 value
2-tapped output with tone control
3-full output with no tone control

i love the tone and it is surprisingly versetile. did i mention it is my favorite bridge single coil pup ever? it is and it kicks ass

Re: advice for esquire bridge p.c.

i guess my next question is where do i find this pickup is it only ordered from s. d. or do guitar retailers have this pickup .

is this just a special order item or a stocked pickup

thanks appreciated

Re: advice for esquire bridge p.c.

i got mine directly from the custom shop, i called em up and placed my order with a credit card.

the tapped output gives a great early broadcaster sound, the full output gives more punch and girth
