The week long journey from Rondo to Alaska has come to a close :p My brother's new Agile Interceptor 7 string literally just arrived...a day early too :)

At first, we were worried because the box had a hole in it, then the 2nd box did as well. But, the blue guy was safe and sound inside!

First thoughts, my brother seems to love it :) AND I must say it REALLY looks and FEELS awesome. The entire design is really slick, the finish is extremely nice, the neck is pretty comfortable. All around, first thoughts are that it's a really great guitar and it makes me wanna order one for myself now, haha.

I'll echo the others. If that thing plays 1/10 as good as it looks.... Wow.... All I can say is wow.........:eek2:

It looks, sounds, and feels GREAT! Seriously guys, this one is definitely an easy winner :)

It's a baritone, but it doesn't even feel very different. The strings are nice and tight though, there's no low floppy stuff going on at all. Also speaking of feel, it's a sweet 7 that feels more like a 6:)

I think I'm gonna start bugging Kurt @ Rondo to make this in a 6 string version too!

Basswood...tell that to EVH or Petrucci, haha. Don't knock it til you try it :p Plus it has a maple top :)

It's just empty sounding. I actually ~like~ it, and it's easier for me to get a good sound out of it. I just feel that I can go further with mahogany in terms of getting the tones that are inside my head.

I have a question. This guitar is a baritone right? Is it possible to tune to standard pitch? Or even get rid of the low B and move all strings up a slot and use a high A on the bottom?

beautiful guitar!! Not to hijack the thread but I have never really looked at the agile stuff before...it looks awsome! Blaze pups and grover tuners??? all for $399.!!?? What's the catch? everyone seems to really like them. How come they're so affordable? Any downside as compared to say an Ibanez or other 7 string?


I shouldn't have looked....

That's a beauty! I'd like to get a 7-string but my bass player doesn't want to tune THAT low or get a 5-string damnit! GRR@!!
