I cured my P-90 Jones about three months ago.
I replaced the pickups in a Greco Les Paul Custom with a set of Vintage Vibe Guitars full-size P-90's.
Those pickups smoke every P-90 I'd played in my quest....and for almost pocket change over the price of one Phat cat I got the pair hand-wound!

That Fender TC 90 is pretty cool and already has Duncans, Custom/Vintage.

I've been bitten so hard I bought a '60 RI Gibson LP Special DC and I'm having Wolfe Macleod of Wolfetone pickups work on a custom humbucker sized p90 for my Grosh (I'm going to be taking the WCR Darkburst out of the bridge for a little bit to try to get my Gibson's attitude in there

lol...i'm hooked on P-90s' now too...i played my nephews dillion Goldtop paul that had sd90's in it....WOW!!!! i loved it through my new peavey halfstack...i found some real crunchy stuff with it...i gotta have some soapbar guitar now too!!!! :smack:

yeah...i was telling him that i had a friend who had one...i gotta tell ya...that's a pretty nice lp right there...he needs to upgrade the 3-way switch and the tuners...and he'd really have something there...i had ALOT of fun playing on it and it really sounded good through my amp!!! we wrote a pretty decent tune together...so we'll definitely have something to jam on when we get together again...he had a Behringer 2x12 combo which was decent...and i finally got the chance to really CRANK up my amp...that thing is WAAAAAY LOUD!!!
anyways...i'd definitely snag a dillion goldtop for the right $'s...i really liked it!

Several years ago, I discovered P90s for the first time. My jaw hit the floor. Incredible stuff. At that time on the forum, no one, I repeat no one, ever talked about them at all. Evan used to laugh at me cuz I thought I'd discovered some great unknown national treasure or something. Now, all you gear ho's are talking about them. Dagnabit, my little secret is out.

I owe it all to Wattage & then Butnut (remember HIM???!!!)....they upgraded the crap out of mine. I think the only original thing on it is the wood!!!

Hoss - The Dillions are very cool, Puckboy's Dillion used to mine and if you can find one with the traditional cutaway I say go for it.
I have used a P-90 guitar as one of my main axes since the late 80's I have had the one on the left since new in '90. It is a great guitar! It has been beaten half to death and just keeps hanging in there. It currently has a Vintage set in it but I may at some point go back to the Custom bridge, not sure yet. It needs a new tune-o-matic bridge so I can put it back into the mix and really decide for sure.
And Jeff I am sorry but chiclets are icky! Even though that cool green one is pretty nice.

I played a Blonde 1956 Gibson ES-175 w/ p-90's for a while, b.i.t.d. A friend of mine loaned it to me for like 1 1/2 years. I miss it.
