Nice clips man, It seems the 498 sounded more modern, if you can use that word, and more clarity. But I liked the '59 as well. really fat and vintage.

Ya ever thought of trying a PG neck? Next project maybe!

I think it's a nice mix ... you can blend the modern and the vintage too. The '59 is really a bridge pickup ... but it's only 8.2k vs the 14.4k 498T. There were just a couple of sounds out of the 498T I just couldn't give up.

Yeah ... I thought about the PG, the Jazz, the Phat Cat(n&b) ... tried the A2P and the '59. This gets in your blood ... I gotta "pickup monkey" on my back. Hopefully, I can back it down a notch now that this done.
