Saw a post, someone somewhat local selling a pair of Alnico II Pro's from a 2008 Slash Les Paul, pretty cheap... would those have the little slash cartoon image on the back? or is there a way to tell if real/fake?
Less than half what I see them sell for normally, and find it a bit weird to buy a Slash Les Paul, and replace the pickups.... most people buy the Slash model, because of the pickups (more or less).
I have an Agile AL-2000 that plays amazing, I own 2 actually and the other doesn't play near as well as this one, and the plan was always to swap the pickups and pots, but the Alnico II's were always outta budget. If the real deal, I think I'll get them because photo looks good, and 1/3 the cost of new.
Photos are the fronts only, so no idea what the back looks like, emailed and asked... I can see that the leads are black, not metal woven.
