Alnico pro 2 vs PATB1 neck in a Goldtop L.P.

I ordered a PATB1 neck pickup to go with my PATB1 bridge and wondered if its going to be a better pickup in my Goldtop Classic? Any thoughts would be appreciated. I do find the Alnico pro 2 matches mt PATB1 bridge closer than the C5 I had in it. Thanks for any advice
