also in the market for a new bridge pickup

Have a Duncan Distortion bridge in a basswood schecter right now. I don't really know how to explain it, but it just doesn't sound "big" enough. The sound just doesn't seem very... complex? Earth Shattering? I usually play a line6 Spider on Recto setting (designed to sound like a Mesa Cabinet), drive-7.5, bass-9, mids-9, treble-6, a bit of chorus and reverb. So either I need to tweak my amp a bit differently, or invest in a new pickup.

I'd prefer it to not be too shrill, but not muddy at all at the low end, and I want plenty of mids. Also, that unexplainable "big" sound, if someone can understand what I mean. The DD always seemed a bit trebley in my guitar. Don't care what it sounds like clean.

something tells me a lot of people are just going to say Custom or JB, but I'd just like to make sure:D

Its sounds like you are looking for a custom custom. I think the "big" sound you are looking for is thickness. This pickup is plenty thick, not muddy at all, not shrill, and it is rich in the mids.

CC or Custom would be my choice. Keep in mind, low output pickups can sound pretty big too, if your amp has enough gain on tap. The Pearly Gates set in my LP sounds HUGE through my Boss rig.
