Alternative to Wampler Plexi-Drive Deluxe Overdrive Pedal

Re: Alternative to Wampler Plexi-Drive Deluxe Overdrive Pedal

I do have the HT Dual on my big board. Admittedly I haven't used my big board in a while, but it covers a lot of ground with a clean/crunch switch on the lower gain side plus twin volumes. It also has the ISF feature so you can get 'American' type drive tones as well as 'British' tones.

That Blackstar pedal is the balls.
I have 3!!! Lol

JHS makes a couple of good ones, the Double Barrel and Sweer Tea, also the Strymon Sunset is a really great pedal.

Funny, as much as I love tubes, the hybrid approach hadn't made it onto the map until now-

Very interested in trying one of these out!

Looking to see if I can try one out around here-

Much appreciated!

Just realized they are out of production- wonder if I can find one that's in good shape? But seems like a rather elegant solution to what I am looking for.

I’ve bought all 3 of mine used on eBay for about $100. All of them work perfect.

Well I pulled the trigger on a Blackstar-

Thanks for all the input and hope to be reporting wonderful tones in about a week-
